Today the art of hand loomed textiles is still passed from generation to generation though out the world. Looms of all sorts continue to turn out beautiful textile ranging from simple tribal weavings to exquisite silk and cotton patterns. The majority of Silk Road Gatherings textiles are hand loomed, made from hand-dyed yarns and silks. Texture, suppleness, depth of color and quality of the weave determine whether a particular textile will become part of the Silk Road Gathering collection.
