The grass for these Bolgatanga Baskets is imported from Ghana, West Africa. The elephant grass used to make these baskets was once only grown in a small region of Africa. It is dried, hand died, spun and woven into traditional designs with a leather handle for added durability.
They are crafted for strength, beauty and durability. They are perfect for taking to the farmers market, harvesting in the garden, storing magazines or just showing off their natural beauty. A quick rinse with hose to clean, (reshape if needed) and their ready for the next task!
